Haaland was born to Alf-Inge Haaland, a former Norwegian professional footballer who played for Leeds United in the Premier League, and Gry Marita Braut, a former women’s heptathlon athlete.He grew up in Bryne, Norway, where he began his youth career at Bryne FK before moving to Molde FK in 2017.
